About Catbaret!

Catbaret is NYC’s only cat-themed variety show, blending comedy, live music, and burlesque (aka purr-lesque). Hosted by Gemma Smith since 2018, it now calls Caveat on the Lower East Side home. With four themed shows a year—like Meowloween and a Galentine's Day Paw-ty—Catbaret unites cat lovers for ameow-zing performances, raffle prizes, and FREE cat ears! It also spotlights adoptable cats from Koneko Cat Cafe and Rescue NYC.

Catbaret's Mission

Our mission is to bring cat lovers together—performers and audiences alike—to celebrate creativity, inclusivity, and all things feline!
